Qualifications

• Experience following lesson plans and instructions from teachers.
• Ability to maintain classroom routine when possible.
• Comfort with teaching a wide range of developmental ages (early childhood to K-12).
• Willingness to work in special education programs if assigned.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the classroom teacher.
• Maintain the regular routine of the classroom whenever possible.
• Perform all of the duties of the classroom teacher, including covering extra classes if needed.
• Responsible for the pupils, equipment, and materials assigned to them for the assignment (all materials and equipment borrowed must be returned to the proper authority before leaving campus).
• Leave a brief summary of the days activities for the classroom teacher (summary may include behavior issues, special circumstances for the day, work that was done or not done during the day).
• Interviews will be help in-person at the Thompson School District administration building.
