The Hamilton in Washington, DC is seeking a Server / Front Waiter to join our vibrant dining team. You will greet guests, present menu options, and coordinate with the kitchen and bar using the POS system to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet new parties and cordially welcome guests to the restaurant.
• Inform guests of delicious menu choices and make suggestions.
• Relay orders to the bar and kitchen using the POS system.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond appropriately.
• Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guests.
• Bus tables when the meal is completed and prepare the table for the next course.
• Total and present the bill, accept payment, cash out the check, and make change.
• Problem-solve guest needs with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
• Extend closing greetings to guests as they leave, thanking them for their patronage.
