Job summary

ProAmpac in Omaha, NE is seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving/Warehouse worker to handle routine material handling and palletizing tasks. Responsibilities include stocking tubes and liners for multiple lines, removing finished bags and tubes, and assembling boxes for the Closing Department.

The role requires good verbal communication, adherence to safety checks, forklift operation, and following production orders. The position pays $18.40 per hour and is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have good verbal and comprehensive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supply of tubes and liners to the Sewing, Inserting, PBOM bottomers.
• Remove finished bags from Sewing, Inserting, PBOM bottomers.
• Remove tubes from Tubers.
• Keep Tubers supplied with empty pallets.
• Assemble boxes for all Closing Department areas.
• Read production orders in advance.
• Have the correct boxes and pallets made prior to the production of an order.
• Help make picture frames as needed.
• Help bring in poly or paper to the tubing department with the forklift when needed.
• Perform outside duties as instructed by the Supervisor or Lead Person.
• Perform forklift battery change as needed.
• Perform forklift propane tank change as needed.
• Complete daily safety check form at the beginning of the shift.
• Utilize forklift horn when traveling around corners and blind spots.
