Job summary

DP World in Commerce, GA is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to sort, scan and move product for one of our long-term customers in a fast-paced warehousing environment.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and a forklift certification, with the ability to read orders and handle repetitive tasks accurately while maintaining safety, organization and productivity goals. Candidates should be reliable, able to work varying schedules and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a traditional warehousing environment while picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas or storage locations.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and/or shipped.
• Move items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to customer requirements.
• Scans materials and moves them according to standard work instructions where applicable.
• Organizing facility or warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site.
• Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.
• Other duties as assigned.
