Job summary

Houston Dose is seeking a forklift operator to move and transfer materials within the warehouse, loading and unloading, and ensuring safe handling of items. The role requires operating powered equipment, performing inspections, and maintaining accurate weight records.

The position emphasizes strict QHSE adherence, teamwork with supervisors, and keeping production flowing. The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a high-volume environment with safety

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand 8 hours daily; perform various movements (walking, bending, stooping).
Read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Move and operate forklifts to transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas.
Organize and secure stored materials such as pallets, boxes, and sacks.
Load or unload materials onto pallets or lifting devices.
Perform routine pre- and post-inspections of forklift equipment.
Report safety hazards or equipment damage to supervisor.
Weigh products and record data on labels and tags.
Coordinate with supervisors and employees on unloading and loading operations.
Wrap material loads and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
