Job summary

Welch Packaging Group Inc is seeking a warehouse operator to operate clamp trucks and forklifts in our Indiana facility. You will receive rollstock and other raw materials, unload and load trucks and rail cars, and operate banding and conveyor equipment to support production lines.

The role requires reading and understanding the production schedule, maintaining a clean work area, and working with a team of forklift drivers to ensure safe, efficient material handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior forklift experience required.
• Must be able to pass basic forklift and clamp truck training.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate clamp truck and forklift to company standards.
• Receive rollstock and other raw materials.
• Unload/load trucks and rail cars as necessary.
• Operate Bander, Hand Bander, and Conveyor Line as needed.
• Assist Material Handlers and Shipping Personnel, keep warehouse organized.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow OSHA requirements.
