Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Food Server in Springfield, MA. The role involves taking and delivering orders, maintaining tables, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. You will also handle side work and cleaning of assigned stations while delivering attentive service to guests.

The starting rate is $9.50 per hour plus tips, with overtime per state law. The position offers meals, uniforms, and access to employee discounts; tips can significantly augment earnings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior Food & Beverage experience in a high-paced environment.
• Ability to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday 3:30pm–10pm with possible Tuesday events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and take orders.
• Demonstrate selling techniques and service delivery for all menu items, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and assigned areas using a silent service approach.
• Itemize bills accurately and secure payment.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly with urgency.
• Communicate with management, chefs, and staff to address guest requests.
