Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking an energetic hourly Food Server in Houston, TX to expedite food from kitchen to guests, assist staff, and maintain clean, organized service areas. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist wait staff in serving food to guests according to standards.
• Set up kitchen and service stations and deliver food to tables.
• Maintain clean storage areas and follow sanitation regulations.
• Support the restaurant team and coordinate with Catering, Banquets, Outlets and Guest Services.
• May help with seating guests and handling ancillary duties as needed.
