Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a Food Runner to join our energetic culinary team. You will assist in delivering food, support kitchen and service staff, and provide friendly guest service in a fast-paced setting.

This role emphasizes high energy, adaptability, and teamwork. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are expected, with opportunities to learn and grow within our hospitality family.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the prompt and efficient delivery of food orders to guests' tables
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless food service
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries and requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the food service areas
• Help with food preparation and plating when necessary
• Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols
