Job summary

The Boca Raton is hiring a Server Assistant to support food running and expediting between the kitchen and dining room. You will help ensure dishes arrive promptly, accurately, and with professional service, contributing to guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have entry-level restaurant experience, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to follow directions under pressure. This role offers development toward Captain Assistant or other Front of House positions.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of restaurant service flow and dining room etiquette.
• Ability to read and understand English for safety and operational notices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push carts up to 200 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary liaison between kitchen and dining room to support timely and accurate food delivery.
• Retrieve completed dishes from the kitchen and verify plate presentation before serving.
• Deliver food promptly to the correct table and seat position with proper service etiquette.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen, expeditor, and service team regarding timing and special requests.
• Support proper pacing of courses by coordinating with Servers and Captains.
