Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert in Minnesota to deliver a welcoming, guest-focused experience on the sales floor. You will handle replenishment, pricing, and merchandising while upholding food safety standards.

You will work in a dynamic team-based setting with varying shifts, including nights and weekends, to ensure a fresh and organized shopping experience for guests at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only)
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

• Greet guests at multiple touchpoints and assist with finding items or resolving issues

• Follow all food safety requirements and Target policies across shifts
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
• Maintain displays and backroom organization and assist with inventory routines
