Job summary

Planet Fitness is hiring a Fitness Trainer to operate the PF group fitness program. You will schedule classes, guide members on equipment use, and promote a welcoming environment that aligns with our Judgement Free Zone.

The role requires 6-12 months experience in customer service, CPR/AED certification, and a willingness to obtain Nationally Certified Training. Competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including Orientation and DYOP.
• Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by assisting and supporting members on their fitness journeys.
• Perform a comprehensive walk-through of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours to assess membership needs.
