Job summary

Planet Fitness in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Fitness Trainer to guide members toward their fitness goals using the PF PE@PF program and simple, scalable workouts for all ages and abilities.

You will drive member engagement, deliver high‑quality customer service, and maintain a clean, safe gym space. The role requires staying energized, leading by example, and promoting a welcoming, non‑judgmental environment for every member.

Qualifications

• Current national training certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency with fitness equipment and instruction.
• Strong English communication skills (reading/writing).
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• Studies in kinesiology, exercise science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead Planet Fitness group fitness program PE@PF.
• Design simple workout programs for all ages/levels.
• Create engaging experiences to build member loyalty.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and club clean.
• Promote safety policies and a judgement‑free environment.
