Job summary

altafiber is seeking an Outside Field Rep to drive door-to-door sales and lead-based outreach in new areas. You will assess customer needs, educate on Local and Long Distance, High-Speed Internet, and video services, and strive to exceed sales metrics.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in door-to-door sales, a valid driver's license, and strong consultative selling skills. This is a commission-based plus base pay role requiring self-motivation and excellent time management.

Qualifications

• Four years of high school or equivalent demonstrated education.
• Experience in door-to-door or outside field sales preferred (1–2 years).
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and propose optimized communication solutions from product/service line.
• Know features/benefits of all services, including bundles and new offerings.
• Understand promotional offers and geography of concentrated areas.
• Learn the systems that support qualification for products/services.
• Meet sales, service, and productivity metrics.
• Document customer sales and follow up consistently.
• Apply training to demonstrate superior product understanding.
