The Little Rock Marriott, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, seeks an Event Sales/Catering professional to sell and service events for in-house and external clients. Responsibilities include banquet F&B sales, menu planning, and contract coordination with hotel staff to ensure exemplary service.

Strong negotiations, customer relationship skills, and a proactive sales mindset are essential, along with experience in hospitality sales and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience.
• 1 year food and beverage experience.
• Strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal business communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Professional appearance and proactive sales approach.
• Knowledge of market segments, competition, and trends.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service events for in-house groups and outside clients.
• Focus on Banquet Food & Beverage sales including menu planning and agenda setting.
• Review contracts and coordinate communications with hotel staff.
• Support site inspections and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with sales and catering teams to deliver high-level service.
