Job summary

The Florida Dental Association (FDA) is seeking a Marketing Event Specialist to plan and execute campaigns that promote the Florida Dental Convention and FDA events. This in-office, full-time role is based in Tallahassee, FL and focuses on integrating email, social media, digital ads, print, and onsite marketing.

You will write copy, manage calendars, coordinate with vendors, track results, and own campaigns from concept to finish.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, events or related field.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills.
• Experience executing campaigns across multiple marketing channels.
• Familiarity with email marketing, social media and digital advertising.
• Strong project management, organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and changing priorities.
• Willingness to learn new platforms and technology.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, PR or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns for multiple events.
• Build promotional calendars, campaign timelines and communication schedules.
• Write compelling copy for email, social media, websites, digital ads, brochures and other promotional materials.
• Develop strong calls to action and tailor messaging to different audiences and stages of the registration cycle.
• Coordinate campaigns across email, social media, digital advertising, search, web, print, video and other channels.
• Coordinate creative projects with designers, printers, photographers, videographers and other vendors.
• Monitor campaign performance and registration trends, and recommend adjustments when needed.
• Support onsite marketing and communications at events, including the Florida Dental Convention.
