Job summary

Premier Academy Walnut is seeking passionate and engaging English Teachers/Tutors to join our academic team in Walnut, CA. Teaching assignments will be based on your experience and preferred grade levels, and you are not required to teach all grade levels.

You may teach Elementary, Middle School, High School, SAT English, AP English, group classes, 1-to-1 tutoring, or a combination, with curriculum and materials provided. Pay ranges from $22 to $35 per hour for part-time, in-person roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Reliable, professional, and passionate about teaching.
• Comfortable teaching one or more English grade levels/programmes.

Responsibilities

• Teach English group classes and/or 1-to-1 lessons based on your experience.
• Deliver engaging lessons using curriculum and teaching materials provided by Premier Academy.
• Support students in reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and critical thinking.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Adapt instruction to students’ individual learning needs.
