Job summary

Premier Academy Walnut Inc. is seeking a passionate private tutor to support students in grades 8–12, focusing on advanced math and SAT prep. You will develop engaging lessons, track progress, and tailor instruction to individual needs.

The role is part-time (2–30 hours/week) in Walnut, CA. Candidates should have 2+ years tutoring or teaching experience and a Bachelor’s degree or higher. CBEST or teaching credential is a nice bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Ability to develop engaging, customized math lessons.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 instruction (up to 1:3).
• Develop and implement tailored math lesson plans.
• Assign and review homework and quizzes.
• Maintain detailed tutoring session records.
• Motivate students, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with Campus Director to improve student progress.
