Job summary

The OSU-Oklahoma City campus invites applications for an adjunct instructor of English to teach on-site courses in Oklahoma City. Instructors will help students develop critical thinking and mastery of the subject matter to become productive community members.

Required qualifications include a Master's in English or a related field (18 hours in English) and at least two years of teaching and classroom management experience; proficiency with MS Office; strong written and verbal communication; and

Qualifications

Master's in English or related discipline or Master's Degree with 18 hours in English required (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
Minimum two years teaching and classroom management experience.
Experience with higher learning compliance and program leadership may be required.

Responsibilities

Maintain student and course records with updates on the learning management system.
Maintain and file current course outlines, objectives and grading procedures for all courses.
Exhibit innovative and adaptive instructional methods.
Completes all mandatory training.
Fulfill all requirements as noted in the Adjunct Handbook.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
