Job summary

Rural Metro Fire Department is currently hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests with high-quality care and customer service. You will perform patient assessments and operate EMS equipment while maintaining a clean, safe vehicle and environment.

This full-time role requires EMT license, BLS, NREMT, and a valid state driver’s license with a compliant driving record.

Qualifications

• EMT license required or eligible.
• BLS certification and NREMT registration preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Completion of Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests.
• Assess patients and provide high-quality emergency care.
• Document patient information while maintaining confidentiality.
• Operate EMS equipment and maintain a clean, stocked vehicle.
• Collaborate with public safety personnel and AMR teammates.
