Job summary

The Rural Metro Fire Department is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency medical requests. EMTs will provide high-quality care and customer service to patients while operating within safety protocols.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, documentation of care, and operation of ambulances. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and have state EMT certification and CPR/BLS certifications. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is available for new hires.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.
• CPR/BLS certifications necessary.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
