Qualifications

• Requires EMT course graduation and licensure in Alabama.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides support treatment, care, and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport.
• Arrives to the scene, determines the situation, and develops a plan of action.
• Monitors patient condition and performs data collection.
• Communicates findings and patient condition to the Registered Staff Nurse.
• Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements.
• Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards.
