Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in Northern California seeks an Associate with 3–5 years of employment litigation experience to join its Employment Group in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Sacramento.

You will handle pre-litigation matters, high-profile single-plaintiff actions, wage-and-hour class actions, and PAGA actions; respond to charges; counsel corporate clients; take/defend depositions; appear at hearings; and assist with motions and mediations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience at a peer law firm.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a member of the California State Bar.

Responsibilities

• Work on pre-litigation matters and litigate high-profile employment cases.
• Take and defend depositions and make court appearances at hearings.
• Argue motions and handle mediations; respond to administrative charges.
• Counsel corporate clients on a wide range of employment issues.
