Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, strong customer service skills, and ability to pass a background check. Training will progress with ACJIS/APCO/EMD certifications as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimal experience (less than 6 months) in customer service in a high-paced environment preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• Must pass extensive background investigation and obtain required certifications after hire.

Responsibilities

• Answer and prioritize incoming emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Gather critical information and determine response needs.
• Dispatch police, fire, EMS or other services as needed.
• Maintain radio communication with field personnel.
• Enter and retrieve data from CAD systems.
• Monitor incidents and update responding units.
