Job summary

GHR Healthcare seeks a locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician for Webster, Texas (Greater Houston Area). Join a dynamic ED team in a busy suburban hospital, delivering high-quality care with immediate impact and access to metro amenities.

This 12-week assignment offers weekly pay between $5,780 and $6,850, ASAP start, board eligibility preferred, Texas licensure or eligibility, and collaboration with experienced nursing and specialty staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine preferred; strong experienced emergency physicians may be considered.
• At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Active Texas medical licensure or eligibility to practice in Texas preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform rapid assessments and stabilize patients as needed in the emergency department
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to coordinate timely, high-quality care
• Deliver efficient, patient-centered emergency medicine care in a busy clinical setting
• Adapt to varying patient volumes and support department coverage needs
