Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed in Physical Education with PreK-8 licensure per MA DESE.
• Bachelor’s degree with license; or Master’s degree with content-area license preferred within 5 years.
• Strong competency in the PE content area and instructional planning.

Responsibilities

• Instructs assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Plans a program of study meeting students' needs and abilities.
• Creates a conducive learning environment for students.
• Assesses student progress; communicates with parents as needed.
• Maintains accurate records as required by policy.
• Participates in district and school activities and meetings.
