Qualifications

• Appropriate content/program area educator license (Elementary) and grade level (1‑6).
• Bachelor's Degree with appropriate license; or Master’s Degree with license (preferred within 5 years).
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Plans a program of study to meet students' needs, interests and abilities.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment aligned with curriculum goals.
• Guides learning toward district curriculum goals and communicates objectives.
• Assesses student progress and provides required reports to parents.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and district policy.
• Participates in professional growth and teacher evaluation processes.
