Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District in Hall Elementary School is seeking a Teacher for Elementary Grades 1/2 Blend for the 2026-2027 school year. This temporary 1.0 FTE position requires an Oregon teaching license and a current First Aid Card.

You will implement district curricula, plan lessons, assess student progress, and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment. The salary range is $45,485 to $90,087, prorated for the 192/193 day contract, with a multilingual stipend if certified languages.

Qualifications

• State of Oregon teaching license with Elementary Multiple Subjects PK-12 endorsement.
• Current First Aid Card.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Teaches reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, physical education, and health education utilizing course of study and skill sequences.
• Instructs students in citizenship, basic communication, literacy, numeracy, and other general elements of the course of study.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to provide individualized and small group instruction.
• Leads students through the development of a work sample and evaluates that work sample.
• Supervises and administers the Oregon Statewide Assessments, including preparation, logistics, and security.
• Monitors individual students, classroom and/or playground activities for a safe learning environment.
• Plans and coordinates the work of educational assistants or paraprofessionals in the classroom.
• Evaluates academic and social growth of students and keeps records and reports.
