Job summary

Saturn Freight Systems is seeking an experienced Domestic Freight Coordinator to join our growing operations team. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of domestic freight forwarding experience and can manage shipments from initial customer request through final delivery.

You will work independently, communicate professionally with customers and carriers, and ensure every shipment is handled accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of domestic freight forwarding or transportation logistics experience.
• Experience managing shipments from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of domestic air freight operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and transportation/logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic freight shipments from quote through final delivery.
• Prepare accurate freight quotes and secure transportation at competitive rates.
• Route shipments using Agent, Forward Air, and agent business networks.
• Book and coordinate shipments with both commercial airline carriers and integrated carriers.
• Monitor shipments proactively and provide timely updates to customers.
• Respond promptly to customer emails, phone calls, and shipment requests.
• Troubleshoot shipment delays or service issues and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation and operational records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and carrier partners.
• Ensure all shipments meet customer requirements and company service standards.
