Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a dock worker at our facility in Missouri. You will load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack or by hand, strap and pad cargo, and accurately record freight conditions on arrival. You will perform pre/post shift equipment checks and maintain reliable attendance.

Flexibility for overtime and weekend work is required. Qualified candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent), be at least 17, and preferably have forklift experience or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Must be 17+ years old.
• Experience in transportation preferred.
• Stable employment history preferred.
• Forklift operation experience or certification preferred.
• Able to lift 70 lbs. and push/pull loaded pallets.
• Ability to work all shifts, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, or by hand.
• Secure freight with straps, braces, and padding.
• Record conditions of freight on arrival at service center.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of dock equipment.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned as needed.
