Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Associate in Manchester, CT. You will unload case goods, stage shipments, palletize items, and operate lift equipment while ensuring safety and accuracy. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to work well in teams and independently.

Compensation is $21 hourly, with a drug-free workplace and equal opportunity employment. Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work well with others and function in a team environment.
• Safely operate all required equipment.
• Move and lift heavy product from floor to overhead with proper form.

Responsibilities

• Unload case goods, bedding and/or upholstered furniture using a two wheel hand cart with assistance when needed.
• Stage and load/unload products for shipping or storage in the warehouse.
• Palletize product and box product when necessary.
• Operate mobile lift equipment to bin product and place incoming product into warehouse racks.
• Retrieve product from aisle racks and load trailer as indicated by load sheet.
• Pick-up breakage and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Check for damaged product and do not load damaged items for shipment.
• Interact professionally with co-workers and meet established rates and accuracy standards.
• Perform additional functions that may be assigned by management.
