Job summary

On-Board PMO is seeking a Demand Planner in Cleveland, OH for a 1 year contract. The role focuses on forecasting, inventory optimization, and cross-functional alignment within a fast-paced environment.

You will develop demand forecasts, analyze trends, and support S&OP processes to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in demand planning, strong data analytics, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 2+ years in demand/supply planning or related function.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficient in Excel and reporting tools.
• Experience with ERP/MRP or advanced planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve short- and long-range demand forecasts using data sources.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Production Planning, Procurement, and Finance.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and inventory performance; identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Support monthly S&OP and demand reviews with forecast reports and risk assessment.
• Align demand with production capacity, material availability, and inventory targets.
• Maintain planning master data and forecast inputs within ERP and planning systems.
• Identify stockouts, excess inventory, and slow-moving risks; develop mitigation plans.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and executive summaries for forecast performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes and tools.
