Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Material Handler to support our Distribution Center operations in Wisconsin. The role involves handling inbound/outbound freight, supporting order fulfillment, labeling, putaway, and picking while maintaining safety standards and accurate records.

Candidates should have basic computer skills, be able to work independently or with a team, and demonstrate good math, communication, and organizational abilities. Prior warehouse equipment experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for certain roles.
• Good record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school education or equivalency preferred.
• Prior use of manual and/or powered industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders in a Distribution Center environment (Receiving, Labeling, Putaway, Order Picking, etc.).
• Operate manual and/or powered industrial equipment and RF guns as needed.
• Document production logs and changes to ensure accurate productivity records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
