Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field or Master’s with 18 graduate credits in a related field.
• Minimum of one year of full-time teaching experience; higher education teaching experience preferred.
• Qualified to teach in the specific program or eligible to credential.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or conversational language abilities preferred.
• Strong background in computers and technology; familiarity with educational technologies.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and evaluate student learning against outcomes.
• Prepare lesson plans and develop course outlines and syllabi.
• Maintain office hours and assist with advising, orientation and registration activities.
• Engage in scholarly and service activities to support discipline expertise and learning.
• Represent the college professionally and participate in curriculum assessment and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development as required.
