Qualifications

• 60+ college credits with a minimum 2.0 GPA from an accredited college/university.
• Temporary Teaching Authorization is required or in hand.
• Current Michigan Teaching Certificate (Substitute Permit not required) or valid substitute credentials.
• Expired Michigan Teaching Certificate may be acceptable with other qualifications.
• Out-of-State Teaching Certificate accepted with transcript showing 60+ credits and 2.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and implements lesson plans
• Mentors and engages students
• Gives clear instructions and helps students understand the lesson
• Maintains discipline and control of the classroom
• Fosters a safe and nurturing learning atmosphere
• May record and grade quizzes, homework, projects, and exams
• Observes and follows school and Edustaff policies
• Regular and Predictable attendance
• Other duties as assigned
