Job summary

Now Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for Rehab Departments in NYC and Long Island skilled nursing facilities. You will collaborate with an OT supervisor, follow the established care plan, and deliver therapy to patients with conditions such as TBI, CVA, stroke, Parkinson's, MS, cancer, and orthopedic injuries.

The position offers Direct Employment or Independent Contractor options, with hourly pay and benefits like orientation, insurance options, commuter

Qualifications

• Current NYS OTA License and Registration is required.
• EMR competence is required to document progress.
• State required medical documentation for work in a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with OT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in a SNF setting with varied diagnoses.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR software.
