Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Reno, NV seeks a COTA to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will follow treatment plans, document appropriately, and ensure high-quality patient care in a post-acute setting.

Requirements include NBCOT certification, ASOT program completion, active state licensure, CPR, and a preference for 1 year of experience. New grads are welcome to apply and CPR must remain current.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (ASOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State in good standing.
• CPR certification upon hire and kept current during employment.
• One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational treatment plans under supervision of the OT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information and professional relationships.
• Comply with Life Care's policies and code of conduct.
