RRC Solutions Group is seeking a Controls Engineer near Oneida, NY (100-130K). The role involves designing and developing machine control systems using AutoCAD, programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens controls, and leading installation and commissioning across multiple local facilities with about 30% travel.
You will troubleshoot electrical/controls, diagnose issues, and modify PLC logic to improve production and operations.
Qualifications
- Requires Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of controls/engineering experience required.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and AutoCAD preferred.
Responsabilités
- Design and develop machine control systems using AutoCAD, sizing VFDs, motors, filters and protection devices.
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic; support Siemens controls.
- Lead installation, integration and commissioning of new equipment across local facilities; travel ~30%.
- Provide hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting to maintenance teams.
- Connect to equipment, diagnose control issues, and modify PLC logic to support production improvements.
