Qualifications

• Teach a variety of Continuing Education classes across certificate programs, health, arts, and career topics.
• Must have current SHRM-CP or SCP certification and relevant HR experience.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach short-term certificate programs in welding, manufacturing, human services, and construction.
• Lead health-related classes such as phlebotomy and basic life support.
• Offer DiscoverU personal interest classes in arts, crafts, wellness, or recreation.
• Deliver professional development on technology, supervising, and leadership.
• Provide adult education and literacy instruction including ESOL and GED prep.
• Support career readiness classes covering interviews, communication, and networking.
• Contribute to HR and SHRM certification prep offerings with required credentials.
