The Douglas Company is seeking a Project Accountant – Construction to manage all accounts payable for a Toledo-based construction project. Responsibilities include processing job costs, owner billings, lien waivers, and ensuring subcontractor documents and insurances are current.

The role requires 2–3 years of construction cost accounting experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Sage 300 ERP and Procore. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Commercial construction experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of construction job cost accounting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Process all job costs with documentation in a timely, accurate manner.
• Prepare monthly job cost accrual reports.
• Process owner billings and sworn statements.
• Pay subcontractors and suppliers; obtain lien waivers.
• Obtain project documents and change orders prior to payments; ensure insurances are current.
• Collect vendor W-9 information.
