Job summary

AlphaGov seeks an experienced Commercial Estimator to develop accurate, competitive bids for commercial interior construction projects from Bentonville, AR. Responsibilities span bid invitation through project handoff, with a focus on drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and related finishes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, or related interior construction trades.
• Commercial interior construction estimating experience is required.
• Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, sequencing, and estimating practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial interior projects, including drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and related finishes.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and bid documents to determine project scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, field teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients throughout the estimating process.
• Maintain estimating databases, bid logs, and project documentation.
