Qualified candidates have CMA/MA certification, CPR, and 1+ year medical office experience; proficiency with EHR systems (Greenway Intergy preferred) and strong medical terminology are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current CMA/MA certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• 1+ year medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Take and record vital signs.
• Collect patient history and chief complaints.
• Prepare charts, labs, and reports for providers.
• Answer and triage calls and messages.
• Document patient information in the medical record.
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and follow-ups.
• Communicate with pharmacies and outside providers.
• Support scheduling and workflow needs.
