Job summary

Texas Health Physicians Group is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a fast-paced, high-volume clinic in Arlington, TX. This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a sign-on for eligible new hires.

You will deliver patient care using CMA processes, assist with checkout and surgery scheduling, communicate test results and plans of care, and help in front office as needed. Requirements include CMA certification, high school diploma, and BCLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).
• CMA – Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED).
• One year of MA experience strongly preferred.
• Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) program with demonstrated competency.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire (REQUIRED).

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients using CMA processes.
• Checks out patients, schedules surgeries, and handles post-operative calls.
• Communicates test results and plan of care by phone or mail.
• Ensures patient safety and privacy.
• May work in the front office as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager or healthcare provider.
