VCU Health in Virginia seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to provide direct, age-specific patient care under physician guidance. You will follow the plan of care, document observations, and support clinical staff in a busy academic medical center.

The ideal candidate holds current CMA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and either has 1 year of MA experience or completed an accredited MA program. Shift work includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Formación

• Current CMA certification from a recognized national association.
• One year MA experience if not a graduate of an MA program.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: graduation from an accredited MA program (CAAHEP or ABHES).

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct, age-specific patient care under physician direction.
• Assist with plan of care and documentation; use clinical software.
• Handle, transport, and access medications and related supplies as required.
• Maintain strong organizational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Rotation across shifts including weekends and holidays.
