Job summary

Health Solutions Learning Tree seeks a Childcare Secondary Teacher to support a developmentally appropriate, culturally responsive learning environment for children from infants to 16 years old. You will assist with curriculum implementation, adapt teaching strategies, and document children’s growth through notes and goals.

Under supervision, you’ll participate in team meetings, handle health and safety procedures, and support meal and classroom operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must hold a CDA or an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or higher credential.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse backgrounds and crisis situations.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and child-serving systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with curriculum implementation and adapt teaching methods.
• Maintain daily attendance, meals, and classroom hygiene.
• Document children’s growth with anecdotal notes and goals.
• Communicate with parents and participate in team meetings.
