Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Chemical Operator in Cleveland, OH. The role requires executing batch processing instructions, in-process testing, and visual inspections of mixing equipment. You will perform basic preventative maintenance and manage inventory to ensure uninterrupted production.

Qualifications

• Experience with mixing, compounding, blending, batch making, and chemical mixing.
• Proficiency in weighing and machine operation.
• Forklift operation experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs.
• PPE usage experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed instructions for batch processes.
• Conduct in-process testing to ensure material conformance.
• Perform visual inspections of all mixing equipment.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on mixing machinery.
• Read and understand work orders and scheduling instructions.
• Maintain inventory levels for continuous production.
• Independently manage at least one type of formulation/mix process.
