Responsibilities

• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response after communicating with the evaluating therapist.
• Implements patient-centered, occupation-based intervention plans and documents communication in the daily note.
• Demonstrates a sequential treatment plan considering patient and family needs and environment.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and other health care providers throughout the OT process.
• Provides training on ADLs including dressing and cooking skills; performs ROM measurements of the elbow, wrist, and hand.
• Completes daily documentation and EMR entries; communicates progress with referring providers and payers.
