Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in New York is hiring a Busser to support servers and cocktail staff, reset tables quickly, and maintain a clean, welcoming dining area. You will interact with guests and team members in a polite, professional manner, helping ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Training is provided in-venue, and previous hospitality or bussing experience is preferred. The position requires lifting up to 75 lbs, standing for long periods, and evening/weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous Busser experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and accommodate the needs of the guests.
• Maintain the general cleanliness and orderliness of the tables and surrounding area including floor.
• Communicate guest needs to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House staff, servers, managers, and chefs.
• Deliver, fill, and re-fill water as requested by guests and/or directed by servers.
• Clear and reset tables, and clean table area, including banquettes, during service.
• Assist in maintaining guest satisfaction through active participation in service.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and side-work as directed by management.
• Mark tables for upcoming courses when available.
