Qualifications

• State of Illinois Professional Educator License with Senior HS endorsement in Business Education.
• Master's in Business or Master's with 18 credit hours in business courses preferred.
• Experience teaching Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Consumer Education, and/or ELL.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet all learners' needs.
• Willingness to collaborate in a Professional Learning Community and develop creative instructional strategies.
• Pursue professional growth and seek additional certifications to support pathways.
• Follow directives of the Career and Technical Education division head.

Responsibilities

• Teach all levels of Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Consumer Education, and/or ELL.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Collaborate with teams in Professional Learning Communities to improve student achievement.
• Utilize a variety of assessment practices (formative, summative, performance-based).
• Support extracurricular activities as a coach or sponsor and contribute to school goals.
