Job summary

Maroa-Forsyth High School is seeking a Full-Time High School Business Teacher in Illinois. The selected candidate will implement the business curriculum, plan and deliver lessons, and utilize technology to differentiate instruction.

Strong collaboration with staff and active involvement in IEP/504 processes are expected. Qualified applicants must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with HS Business endorsement and show commitment to diverse learners.

Qualifications

Active Illinois Professional Educator License with HS Business endorsement.
Experience teaching high school business topics preferred.
Ability to work with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

Implement the High School Business curriculum including courses listed.
Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and materials for active learning.
Instruct and monitor students using learning materials and technology; differentiate instruction.
Maintain records and assess student work; manage behavior.
Participate in IEP/504 meetings and school/district/parent meetings.
Collaborate with department and district staff; communicate progress to families.
